Chinese 5 Spice
Popular all over the World
Although the exact origins of five-spice powder are lost to history, there is some thought that the Chinese were attempting to produce a "wonder powder", encompassing all of the five elements. All of the five flavours - sour, bitter, sweet, pungent and salty are found in five-spice powder.

We often like to cook our own chinese food at home and I wouldn't get the authentic results that I do without this. I've tried using supermarket blends but there was always something missing. This blend is so fresh and tasty its like being in the Orient!. A definite winner and a firm favourite!
So authentic, one taste and I was transported straight to China! Thank you Nature Kitchen, freshest spices I have had for ages!
